**I also received a letter from Ken Muggli of Glen Ullin, North Dakota.
I tried scanning the letter in, but it cut off too much, so I'll
include the information from his letter:

I am organizaing a wagon train.  The planned route is over a portion of
the "Fort Keogh Trail" (FKT).  The event will start on July 21 at
Haymarsh, North Dakota, (10 miles north of Glen Ullin).  Proceed 10 miles to
Hebron, ND, overnight in Hebron, travel 16 miles on day two and
overnight at Richardton, ND.  Day three in to Taylor, ND, in time to
participate in the parade down main street as part of the Taylor Horse Fest, a
large regional event aimed at draft horses and their usage in rural
North Dakota.  The Taylor Horse Fest is a very nice event for folks who
like draft horses.

Here is what I have to offer:  We will travel over parts of the actual
original trail, we will travel on small 2-track country roads
paralleling as near as possible to the original route.  We will pass by the
hills where a U.S. Army payroll (Gold) is buried (unfound), visit the site
of three stations (nothing remains except some evidence of man made
activity), travel through very scenic country on the edge of the ND
badlands, and to top it off you end up at the Taylor Horse Fest.

You and your friends and associates are welcome to participate.  For
more information, contact:
